MSC College Board

We would like to recognise and thank the following past and present Manea Senior College Board Members for their contributions.

Current Board Members

Trevor Sutherland

Board Chair

Trevor Sutherland manages Channel 10 in regional WA, TEN West Regional, having previously worked at GWN for 28 years in Perth, Kalgoorlie, Auckland and Bunbury.  Following tertiary Computer Science studies in Sydney, Trevor worked in most Television operational roles from Presentation Co-ordinator to General Manager.

Mark Seaward

Community Representative

Mark Seaward is a business professional who has worked in senior management roles in, Telecommunications and ICT Services, FMCG manufacturing and the WA Health Department.

He is an innovative leader with a strong record of delivering projects, establishing and growing businesses and has a record of accomplishment in creating business value.

Mark has a strategic regional focus and currently the CEO of the Bunbury Geographe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he also serves on the board of Enable WA.

He has 20 years of experience in Executive and Senior Management leadership roles in both the private and public sectors.

Nicola Banks

Parent Representative

Nicola Banks: is a Commercial Administration Manager,  and a current member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, for the past 9 years working in the mining industry in the South West region. She is currently the chairperson of the Greenbushes Community Resource Centre. Nicola lives in Donnybrook with her husband, 2 children and Phoebe the bulldog, bringing a regional perspective to the Board. During her spare time she enjoys historic cars, roller derby coaching, and reading.

Janene Wells

Staff Representative

Janene Wells is a Science teacher, specialising in Biology and Human Biology who is born and bred in the southwest. She started at Manea in 2010 has taken on roles as Year Coordinator, Student Services, Health and Medical Specialist Program teacher and currently the Teaching and Learning Coordinator.

She is a Level 3 Classroom teacher and was state finalist in 2014 for the WA Secondary Teaching awards. 

Mark Rando

Community Representative

Mark Rando is a Financial Advisor who has run his own business since 2005. The business has grown from humble beginnings to a point today that it is a highly successful award winning company. Prior to this Mark studied as primary school teacher and worked for 12 years in the profession.

Yvette Moulsdale

Staff Representative

Yvette Moulsdale has been the Manager of Corporate Services at Manea Senior College since 2008.  Prior to this she was the Business Manager at Kalgoorlie Boulder Community High School for a number of years.  Yvette is very passionate about ensuring that Manea Senior College students’ have the best possible resources and facilities and uses her wealth of school administration experience to ensure all the support services at Manea run efficiently.

Sue Beeson

Parent Representative

Sue Beeson: is a mother of two based in Bunbury where she has resided for the last 12 years.

Originally from Perth, Sue moved to the South West over 20 years ago as Financial Controller for the Shire of Manjimup, and has since established her own Accounting business servicing the Medical Profession in Bunbury and Perth.

Sue has extensive experience in Public Accounting, Local Government, Hospitality and Small Business although her focus has moved toward Management and Administration.

This is the second time Sue has been a Parent Representative having been on the Board 3 years ago when her son attended Manea Senior College.

Sue is very passionate about the role of Manea Senior College in helping to prepare students for the workplace and/or further education, and embraces the opportunity to contribute to creating a unique and inclusive secondary campus.

Janine Shaw

Parent Representative

Janine Shaw is a mother of four living and working in Busselton. She is a Primary School teacher and has a passion for bringing quality educational experiences to students whether they are at the beginning of their school journey, in early childhood or in their final years of school. She has strong beliefs in being a lifelong learner and embraces opportunities to ensure students develop this desire to build their capacity as they move into a fast paced global community. She has taken on Acting Deputy and leadership roles in her career as well as served on the Vasse Primary School Board as the school transitioned into becoming an IPS school. She is currently leading the Learning Environment Committee, which is a school priority at Vasse PS. In addition, Janine and her husband and owned their our own business in the building industry for 15 years. She has a variety of interests ranging from tennis, horse riding and personal fitness to being a voracious reader and spending quality time with her family. She enjoys travelling and wishes to do more of that in the foreseeable future.

Rosina Mogg

Parent Representative

Rosina Mogg: is a local business partner of Lew’s Auto Repairs for 28 years. She is a mother of 3 children and is expecting first grandchild end of May 2018.
She has obtained an Art & Design and Adult Leadership certificates; has 14 years of service as a Scout Leader at 2nd Bunbury Sea Scouts; and has experience as a playgroup & Event Coordinator. She has 8 years’ experience as a private Independent School Board member and likes to be a proactive citizen and give back to the community.
Rosina enjoys growing and exhibiting roses, gardening, art craft & design, hiking, camping, the environment, travelling overseas, cooking and entertaining  family and friends. 

Amanda Sommerville

Parent Representative

Amanda Sommerville is a lawyer who has been working in private practice in Bunbury since 2010.  Amanda believes in the importance of education and study, having completed her law degree as a mature age student, graduating with honours and receiving the award for top graduating Bachelor of Laws student at the end of her degree. Amanda has been a member of a variety of boards over the years and is looking forward to being of assistance to the Manea Senior College Board wherever she can.

Jenifer Lawlor

Parent Representative

Jenifer Lawlor is a qualified CPA accountant, working at AMD Chartered Accountants for the last 5 years in the Tax & Advisory division. She is currently a committee member and treasurer for the St Chaplains and SW Baptist Church. For the past 17 years together with her husband, they have run a successful chiropractic business. Jenifer lives in Gelorup with her husband, two daughters, and Doug the cat. In her spare time she loves to cook and entertain friends, read and relax. 



Helen Smith

Community Representative

Helen Smith is a Clinical Nurse at the Bunbury Hospital. With over 25yrs experience, 17 of those years spent in Bunbury both in an acute setting and an advisory role. Helen understands the importance of quality education and is looking forward to being a part of the Manea Senior College Board.

  2. Additional Information request – courses, interests etc
  3. Enrolment meeting with one of our staff
  4. Submission of course selections
