Certificate III Sport, Aquatics and Recreation

The content covered includes topics such as program planning, lesson planning and evaluation, industry specific risk management and OHS, first aid and social media in the workplace.

 The course will prepare students for employment in the Sport, Aquatics and Recreation industry. Over the course of the year students will develop the skills and confidence necessary to become an effective teacher and coach. They will be exposed to industry settings where they can develop their communication skills, organisational skills and teaching strategies.

 Not only will students obtain a Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation, they will also complete a short course on Injury Management, and complete their Provide First Aid qualification

Certificate III Sport, Aquatics and Recreation (SIS30122)

The SIS30122 Certificate III Sport, Aquatics & Recreation (Aquatics) is delivered by a qualified VET lecturer at Manea Senior College. The qualification is presented in partnership with IVET, a Registered Training Organisation. IVET provides an online portal that students will access for all theory resources, and assessment submission.
