Student Testimonials

Tahlia Bosveld

“Studying the United Nations Association of Australia Global Citizenship and Sustainability Program at Manea Senior College has been a great experience, both enjoyable and educational. This course has provided me with the opportunity to become actively involved with contributing to the local community by creating and implementing our own projects that are focused on one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, given by the United Nations. I highly recommend this course as it has provided me with a new range of critical thinking skills that involve creatively developing ideas as well as hands on experience. Overall, the stress free, pleasant nature of the course allowed me to combine this endorsed project with an ATAR pathway, without an overwhelming workload, which lead me to especially enjoy this course.”

Taylor Kovacs

“Choosing to study the United Nations Association of Australia Global Citizenship and Sustainability Program at Manea Senior College was a choice I have not regretted. It has pushed me to learn more deeply about relevant global issues which I care about, and go onto developing my own group project which actively involved me in resolving these issues. Michele Watson is so encouraging and knowledgeable which eased us all into this course and motivated us to keep doing our best. I highly recommend this course for anyone who cares about making positive changes to our community and our environment.”
